Job Overview:

The Advertising, Marketing, And Promotions Partner will provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters, covering traditional and new media platforms. They will lead client representation, cultivate strong relationships, and actively contribute to the growth of the firm's advertising, marketing, and promotions practice.

Duties:

• Provide expert legal counsel on advertising, marketing, and promotions matters in traditional and new media
• Protect clients’ business interests and brand elements throughout the campaign life cycle
• Counsel clients to avoid and respond to challenges from government agencies, competitors, and consumers
• Lead litigation of false advertising and unfair competition claims in court and before NAD
• Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships
• Actively participate in business development initiatives

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school
• Excellent academic credentials
• 10 years of specialized experience in advertising law
• Ability to learn and embrace new skills and best practices
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
• Ability to manage confidential information with tact and discretion
