Part-Time Specialist, Support (Help Desk) - Information Technology (IT)
The candidate provides timely, responsive and accurate support and problem resolution to the Firm's lawyers and staff. Responsibilities include receiving and logging calls, emails, and voicemails; troubleshooting end user incidents; fulfilling service requests; and providing proper escalation and follow-up on all issues. Provides documentation for problem-solving measures on various applications. Should have a bachelor’s degree with a major in computer technologies. Previous experience as a help desk specialist or in an IT-related support role preferred. Demonstrate ability to perform in positions of responsibility, preferably in a legal environment. Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, and Windows 7 / 10 preferred. Strong leadership, organizational, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to listen, work directly with lawyers and staff, answer phones, document problems, and speak and write in terms easily understood. Aptitude for learning new software products and applying troubleshooting skills to assist callers. Able to work with minimal supervision as well as work in a team environment.
