Job Overview: A respected law firm in Rancho Cucamonga is seeking a committed and knowledgeable Associate Immigration Attorney. This opportunity is ideal for a licensed attorney with 1 to 4 years of immigration law experience who is passionate about client advocacy and ready to take the next step in their legal career. The successful candidate will join a dynamic immigration team, manage their own caseload, and play an integral role in providing legal solutions in both detained and non-detained immigration matters.

Location:

  • Rancho Cucamonga, California

Duties:

  • Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals

  • Conduct strategic immigration consultations with potential clients

  • Manage a caseload and collaborate with fellow attorneys and legal assistants

  • Prepare and submit diverse immigration applications, including family-based petitions and removal defense

  • Visit detention centers for client intakes and case assessments

  • Draft and file legal briefs and supporting documentation

  • Guide clients and witnesses through the USCIS and court testimony processes

  • Work with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community organizations on immigration issues

  • Provide legal analysis to assess potential case benefits

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing

  • 1 to 4 years of hands-on experience in immigration law

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to manage and advance multiple legal cases simultaneously

  • Familiarity with EOIR proceedings and USCIS applications

  • Experience in family-based immigration, humanitarian cases, and citizenship matters

  • Preferred experience with case management software

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:

  • Legal research and writing

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving
