Job Overview:
A leading law firm is actively seeking a qualified Associate Attorney with 4 to 6 years of experience in appellate practice and trial support. Location:

• Tallahassee, FL

Duties:

• Draft appellate briefs, motions, and legal memoranda

• Argue appellate cases and legal motions before courts

• Participate in charge conferences during trial proceedings

• Preserve records for appeal during trial litigation

• Conduct in-depth legal research and provide strategic guidance

• Collaborate with trial attorneys to support litigation strategy and execution

Requirements:

• 4 to 6 years of experience in appellate litigation and trial support

• Direct courtroom experience including oral arguments and motion hearings

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

• Strong teamwork skills and ability to operate independently

• Judicial clerkship experience is preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic credentials required

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and research abilities

• Strong oral advocacy and courtroom presentation skills

• High attention to detail and analytical thinking

• Effective interpersonal and communication skills

• Proficient with legal research databases and litigation technology
