A law firm seeks a highly motivated Litigation Associate to join its team in the vibrant Brickell financial district of Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in complex litigation and demonstrate exceptional analytical and communication skills.

Duties

• Investigate and evaluate potential new cases for technical and legal issues.
• Conduct thorough legal research and apply findings to case strategy.
• Maintain effective communication with clients regarding case status and progress.
• Research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda.
• Manage all aspects of the document discovery process.
• Conduct civil discovery, including depositions and motion practice.
• Identify and prepare expert witnesses for cases.
• Collaborate with attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in alternative dispute resolution.
• Maintain organized and complete case files.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience in complex litigation at federal and state levels.
• Active member in good standing of the Florida Bar.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Superior legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Education

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the Florida Bar.
