Job Title: Mid-Level Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm in Irvine, CA, is seeking a skilled and driven mid-level litigation attorney to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to manage complex cases under the guidance of senior attorneys, develop your case management skills, and play a key role in driving cases toward successful resolution. You will be responsible for preparing pleadings, conducting research, drafting motions, and representing clients at hearings and depositions. Ideal candidates will possess a strong foundation in civil litigation, with a keen interest in learning and growing within a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Duties:

• Perform all aspects of civil litigation under the guidance of firm partners
• Prepare and draft pleadings, discovery, and motions
• Conduct legal research and draft high-quality legal documents
• Represent clients at hearings and take or defend depositions
• Take on second or third chair roles during trials
• Manage cases efficiently from pre-litigation through resolution
• Communicate with clients and opposing counsel to move cases forward

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in California
• Minimum of 4 years of litigation experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in case management
• Ability and willingness to learn and improve legal writing
• Preference for candidates with experience in real property or insurance coverage law

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admitted to practice law in California

Skills:

• Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
• Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
