Job Overview

A law firm seeks a motivated and talented mid-level to senior-level insurance associate to join its Las Vegas, NV office. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years of experience in construction defect litigation and/or motor vehicle personal injury insurance defense, with the ability to handle cases semi-autonomously. This role offers opportunities for client contact and potential trial experience, with flexibility for in-office and hybrid/remote work.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with partners and senior associates on case strategy and preparation.
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Nevada state bar.
• 7 years of experience in insurance defense (premises liability, construction defect, and/or transportation).
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to the Nevada state bar.
