A law firm seeks a seasoned Senior Commercial Real Estate Attorney in New Haven, CT. The successful candidate will manage sophisticated commercial property files from inception to closing for middle-market, entrepreneurial, and institutional entities.

Duties

• Structure, draft, and negotiate complex commercial property acquisitions, dispositions, and development agreements.
• Represent lenders and borrowers in sophisticated commercial real estate financing, asset-based lending, and commercial loan originations.
• Draft and negotiate high-value retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use commercial leases on behalf of landlords and institutional tenants.
• Review complex title commitments and surveys; draft and resolve sophisticated easements, covenants, and land-use restrictions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of dedicated experience specializing strictly in commercial real estate.
• A proven track record handling commercial files; residential real estate experience will not be considered.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active, good-standing admission to the Connecticut State Bar.
