A law firm seeks a Patent Litigation Associate for its Atlanta, GA office. The ideal candidate will possess one to four years of intellectual property litigation experience, including some exposure to patent litigation. Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings and memorandums.
• Engage in direct client interactions and manage client relationships.
• Take and defend depositions in complex litigation matters.
• Argue motions and support litigation strategies.
• Contribute to the business development efforts of the IP Litigation group.

Requirements

• One to four years of IP litigation experience, including patent litigation.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Solid experience in drafting legal documents and memorandums.
• Willingness to engage in business development activities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• USPTO registration preferred, or eligibility to sit for the exam.
