Job Overview

A law firm seeks an accomplished associate to join its technology transactions practice in Menlo Park, CA. The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal counsel on complex digital, AI, intellectual property, data, and technology matters. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with global practice leaders, ensuring compliance and supporting innovation in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate technology licenses, joint ventures, and strategic alliances.
• Support corporate transactions involving technology and IP assets, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Assist with product counseling and analysis of emerging legal issues in the technology sector.
• Monitor and analyze emerging legal and regulatory trends in technology, data, AI, and IP.

Requirements

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree (LLM or foreign equivalent) from an accredited law school.
• 4-8 years of experience.
• Admission to the California bar and in good standing.
• Previous experience in corporate technology transactions, either at a firm or in-house.

Education

Certifications

• Admission to the California bar.
