A law firm seeks a Real Estate Closing Attorney in Mauldin, South Carolina to join a well-established team. The ideal candidate will be a member in good standing of the South Carolina Bar and preferably have experience in closing real estate transactions.

Duties

• Oversee residential and commercial real estate transactions, including sales and refinances.
• Review title documents.
• Collaborate with lenders, brokers, agents, buyers, and sellers to facilitate transactions.
• Draft and review loan documents, including contracts, deeds, leases, and purchase and sale agreements.
• Provide a professional and engaging client experience, addressing any questions or concerns.
• Review disbursement ledger and sign checks.
• Develop and grow business relationships for the firm.
• Conduct training for potential clients in real estate law.

Requirements

• Residential real estate experience preferred.
• Member of the South Carolina State Bar (in good standing).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Self-starter capable of community involvement and achieving results.
• Growth-minded with a residential focus.
• Strong work ethic demonstrated in academics and work history.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
