The role primarily involves handling complex copyright, trademark, and trade secret litigation, along with other commercial disputes. The ideal candidate will bring substantial expertise in intellectual property law and a proven ability to navigate multifaceted legal challenges effectively.

Duties

• Represent clients in trademark, copyright, trade secret, and commercial litigation cases.
• Engage in proceedings before regulatory and administrative bodies, such as:
  • U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).
  • Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (TTAB).
  • Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
  • International Trade Commission (ITC).
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare for trials or hearings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute legal strategies.
• Provide legal advice on intellectual property matters and risk management.
• Advocate for clients in mediation, arbitrations, and court proceedings.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in trademark, copyright, and trade secret litigation.
• Familiarity with regulatory and administrative proceedings.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and oral advocacy skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with a strong academic record.

Certifications

• Active California Bar membership is required.
