Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced transactional attorney to join their team in Panama City, FL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in real estate, business law, commercial transactions, and/or community associations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of matters.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and draft transactional documents independently.
• Attend client appointments and understand client expectations.
• Engage in special projects and committee work.
• Complete administrative tasks including time reporting and case management.
• Utilize technology and automation in legal practice.
• Travel as required to meet business needs.
• Comply with federal and state regulations and firm policies.

Requirements

• Current license to practice law, in good standing with the Alabama or Florida Bar.
• Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in estate, business law, commercial transactions, and/or community association matters.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and file management software.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• High ethical standards and confidentiality in client matters.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Alabama or Florida.
