Duties:

• Provide legal representation to clients facing criminal charges.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on criminal law issues.
• Develop defense strategies and tactics.
• Negotiate plea bargains and settlements with prosecuting attorneys.
• Prepare and present cases in court proceedings, including trials and appeals.
• Interview clients, witnesses, and law enforcement personnel.
• Handle all aspects of the criminal defense process, from arraignment to sentencing.
• Maintain client confidentiality and trust.

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience in criminal defense.
• Former public sector experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.
