A law firm seeks a full-time associate attorney to join their Orphans' Court Litigation team in West Conshohocken, PA. This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled litigator to engage in impactful cases involving families and estates within a dynamic and expanding environment.

Duties

• Represent clients in Orphans' Court proceedings, including estate disputes, guardianships, and trust administration.
• Provide legal counsel and strategic advice on complex estate, trust, and guardianship issues.
• Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, partners, and clients to develop case strategies and represent clients in court hearings and trials.
• Manage caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of client service and attention to detail.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in litigation with a successful track record.
• Experience in the Pennsylvania state court system, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Strong understanding of litigation processes; knowledge of probate law, estate planning, and guardianship issues is a plus.
• Excellent academic credentials, research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive matters with discretion and empathy.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.

Skills

• Expertise in estate and trust law is not required.
