Duties

• Collaborate with legal professionals, community organizations, and advocacy groups.
• Keep clients informed about their cases and provide regular updates.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in criminal law and relevant case law.
• Conduct community outreach and education on criminal issues.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in criminal defense and post-conviction relief.
• Strong understanding of the criminal legal system.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competency.
• Commitment to social justice and client-centered advocacy.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
