A law firm seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Associate Attorney to join its expanding team in Charleston, SC. The ideal candidate will have zero to three years of experience and a passion for providing exceptional legal representation. This full-time, in-office position will offer opportunities for professional development and hands-on experience in personal injury and civil litigation defense.

Duties:

• Assist with the preparation and filing of legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery responses.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and depositions under the guidance of senior attorneys.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
• Participate in case development and trial preparation.
• Work closely with clients to provide updates and assist in case management.
• Contribute to the collaborative work environment within the legal team.

Requirements:

• Zero to three years of experience in litigation, particularly in personal injury or civil defense.
• Strong research, writing, and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work in an in-office environment.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be admitted to practice law in South Carolina.
