Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law in York, PA. The successful candidate will manage their own caseload, working collaboratively with other counsel and a Family Law paralegal to support case preparation and client services.

Duties

• Manage a full caseload and adhere to deadlines.
• Represent clients in complex family law litigation.
• Serve as first chair in appropriate cases.
• Handle family law matters including divorce, custody, support, property division, and prenuptial agreements.
• Draft pleadings, motions, agreements, and correspondence.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis.
• Foster collaboration, excellence, and professionalism within the firm.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage time effectively; plan and organize efficiently.
• Demonstrate emotional maturity, judgment, and accountability.
• Deliver high-quality legal services from intake through resolution.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar; member in good standing.
• Proficiency in LexisNexis.
• Exceptional research, advocacy, and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and case management skills.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
