Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate attorney in Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in personal injury law, managing cases independently, and demonstrating strong litigation skills. This hybrid position offers flexibility to work remotely part of the week and requires presence in the Center City Philadelphia office as needed.

Duties

• Manage a caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings and motions, and manage discovery.
• Take and defend depositions and appear at mediations, arbitrations, and court hearings.
• Collaborate with team members, medical experts, and consultants to develop legal strategies.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and trial preparation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and other legal forums.
• Monitor and interpret changes in relevant law and assess their impact on client matters.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
• At least two years of experience in personal injury law.
• Strong research, writing, negotiation, and litigation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania.
