The candidate will be responsible for matters involving wrongful discharge, employment discrimination, workers' compensation, wage and hour laws, employee privacy and the Occupational Safety and Health Act. Advice on issues involving equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, employment contracts, non-competition agreements and public sector employment round out the inclusive list of services provided by Group members. Must have 3 years of private practice experience in labor and employment law; superb research and writing skills; superior verbal/interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex theories to other attorneys and clients; a license to practice in Maine and another New England jurisdiction.
