National Tax Office (NTO) Senior

The candidate will serve as a technical tax resource on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions conducted by clients and private equity. Will conduct tax structuring services for buy and sell side transactions, including determining the most optimal structure, preparation of summaries of structures, tax modeling of after-tax proceeds and incremental taxes, and review of purchase agreements. Conduct tax due diligence, including review of target tax returns, tax inquiries, and preparation of written tax due diligence report. Prepare ancillary transaction services, such as transaction costs, analysis of tax attributes, and Section 1202 studies. Assist engagement teams with reporting the tax aspects of transactions. Conduct tax research on transactional issues and monitor current developments for emerging tax issues. Participate in tax webinars and author tax alerts on transactional matters. Work to develop relationships with clients, including involvement in networking and business development activities. Successful completion of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required. CPA or Bar admission is essential. Must have 2-5 years of recent experience in public accounting.
