Duties

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and substantive correspondence.
• Appear in court, mediations, hearings, and depositions frequently.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff across multiple offices.
• Communicate clearly and directly with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Requirements

• Active Florida Bar membership with 2+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong writing and analytical skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Effective communication skills with clients and opposing counsel.
• Client-focused and team-oriented with a proactive approach to case management.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school required.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Florida Bar.

Skills

• Real estate or commercial litigation experience preferred.
• First- or second-chair trial experience is advantageous.
• Deposition experience beyond 30(b)(6) basics is a plus.
• Background in boutique or mid-size firm is beneficial.
