Duties

• Calculate annual fixed asset expenses and reconcile reports with trial balances.
• Assist in calculating monthly use tax accruals for clients.
• Prepare responses and documents for tax audits.
• Research federal and state tax issues.
• Discuss tax issues and planning opportunities with team members.
• Review documents related to client acquisitions and expansions.
• Prepare and review tax credit documentation.
• Participate in due diligence for client acquisitions.
• Review and edit contracts focusing on tax issues.
• Prepare filing packages for state tax incentive refunds.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active bar admission in a relevant jurisdiction.
• 2-5 years of corporate tax experience in a law firm or public accounting tax department.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.)

Certifications

• Active bar admission
