A law firm in Baltimore, MD, is seeking an experienced Senior Real Estate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial expertise in commercial real estate finance, including experience with lender and borrower-side transactions. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage complex commercial real estate finance transactions from inception to completion.
• Represent clients on both lender and borrower sides, providing expert legal advice and guidance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, including loan, purchase, and joint venture agreements.
• Conduct due diligence and legal research to support real estate transactions and resolve issues.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and legal professionals to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Provide strategic counsel on leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures.
• Stay current with legal trends, industry practices, and real estate finance regulatory changes.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and legal staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Florida Bar (FL Bar admission is required).
• Experience in commercial real estate finance law.
• Proven track record of handling complex real estate transactions and negotiations.
• Strong academic credentials and a demonstrated ability to handle high-stakes legal matters.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with leverage transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures.
