A law firm seeks a skilled Associate Attorney specializing in Foreclosure and Bankruptcy to join their team in West Palm Beach, FL. The ideal candidate will have over three years of experience in handling bankruptcies related to foreclosures, with expertise in representing secured creditors and navigating complex foreclosure-related bankruptcy matters in Florida.

Duties

• Draft and review Payment Change Notices, Post-Petition Fee Notices, Transfers of Claim, and Proofs of Claim for Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcy actions.
• Conduct detailed Chapter 13 Plan Reviews and prepare objections as needed.
• Draft and file pleadings such as Motions for Relief from the Automatic Stay and Objections to Chapter 13 Plans.
• Represent clients at bankruptcy court hearings, both telephonic and in-person.
• Independently manage a caseload, ensuring timely responses and meeting client expectations.
• Handle escalated matters, including time-sensitive issues, with precision and efficiency.
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate and admission to the Florida Bar in good standing.
• Membership in all Florida Federal Bankruptcy Districts is required.
• At least 3-5 years of related experience in mortgage foreclosure bankruptcy or other default-related fields.
