Job Details:

Duties:

• Handle a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters on behalf of clients.
• Manage and oversee junior associates and professional staff on litigation projects.
• Conduct legal research analysis and provide strategic counsel to clients.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies and tactics.
• Draft legal documents, pleadings, motions, and other related materials.
• Appear in court for hearings, depositions, and trials as needed.
• Collaborate with clients to provide legal advice and support in their business litigation cases.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of significant litigation experience.
• Prior experience working in the Litigation Department of a comparable law firm.
• Proven project-based experience and the ability to multitask on high-level assignments.
• Demonstrated track record of consistently producing high-quality work products.
• Experience working with and overseeing junior associates and professional staff.
• High level of academic achievement from a law school institution.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Current admittance to the California Bar is required.

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Litigation strategy and tactics development.
• Courtroom experience, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in legal software and research tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in technology litigation, class action defense, and/or company v. company disputes.
