A prominent law firm based in Fort Myers, FL is seeking a motivated Insurance Coverage Associate Attorney to join its dynamic litigation team. This role focuses on sophisticated insurance coverage matters across various jurisdictions, requiring a blend of exceptional writing, research, and litigation abilities. Duties:

• Conduct a thorough file review and legal analysis of insurance claims and causes of action

• Draft detailed legal documents, including substantive briefs, pleadings, memoranda, and appellate briefs

• Handle client representation in court proceedings, arbitrations, and depositions

• Manage discovery processes, including drafting and responding to discovery requests

• Collaborate with and retain expert witnesses as needed

• Prepare cases for trial and attend trials as necessary

• Meet an annual billable hour requirement of 1950 hours

• Occasional travel may be required for court appearances or client meetings

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience handling insurance coverage matters preferred

• Active license to practice law in Florida; additional admissions a plus

• Ability to respond promptly and professionally to client and internal inquiries

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical reasoning

• Ability to independently manage workload while contributing to a team-driven culture

• Exceptional research, writing, and verbal communication skills

• Professional demeanor and excellent client interaction skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida Bar

• Admission to other state Bars is advantageous
