Profile

A law firm seeks an accomplished Commercial Litigation Attorney to join its team in Devon, PA. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in commercial litigation and possess an existing portfolio of clients. This role offers the opportunity to lead the commercial litigation practice, with the potential to expand the team based on the size of the candidate's existing book of business. Duties

• Manage and lead the commercial litigation practice, handling complex commercial disputes from inception through resolution.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies, including conducting legal research, and drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing strategic advice and guidance on commercial litigation matters.
• Lead and mentor junior associates, providing oversight and support in managing caseloads and developing legal strategies.
• Collaborate with partners and other firm leaders to grow the commercial litigation practice, focusing on client retention and business development.
• Stay current on industry trends, changes in litigation law, and best practices to ensure comprehensive legal counsel for clients.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of handling high-level disputes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and grow a successful book of business.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to oversee and mentor a legal team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to advocate persuasively in court.
• Business development acumen, with a focus on expanding client relationships and developing new business.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in the state of Pennsylvania.
