The candidate will be providing advice and counseling to clients concerning employment law issues. Counseling will include providing advice, drafting policies, handbooks, employment agreements, wage-hour, leave of absences, investigations. Ready to take ownership of new responsibilities, have a hands-on approach to completing tasks that may be outside their current experience and bring a solution-focused mindset to their projects. Must preferably have employment counseling experience and a broad understanding of federal and California employment laws and regulations. Must preferably have a majority of experience from an employment practice group or employment-only law firm. Should be a member or pending member of the California State Bar.
