A law firm seeks a Professional Liability Litigation Attorney in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have 1-5 years of practice experience in professional liability and be licensed to practice law in Georgia or have pending bar exam results. Remote/hybrid options may be available after training and integration with the team.

Duties

• Assess new files to establish action plans, budgets, and recommendations.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate tasks to paralegals as needed.
• Prepare discovery responses and manage document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other discovery events, providing thorough reports.
• Negotiate settlements, secure authority, and prepare for trial as necessary.
• Maintain regular communication with paralegals and legal assistants.

Requirements

• 1-5 years of practice experience in professional liability.
• Licensed to practice law in Georgia or pending bar exam results.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

Education

• Juris Doctorate or equivalent.

Certifications

• Bar license in Georgia.
