A law firm in Ann Arbor is seeking a Junior to Mid-level Tax Associate Attorney with the following responsibilities:

Duties:

• Conducting legal research and analysis pertaining to tax matters.
• Drafting various legal documents such as memoranda, agreements, and opinions.
• Assisting senior attorneys in transactional tax matters.
• Collaborating closely with securities and finance lawyers within the firm.
• Engaging with investment bankers, financial advisors, and government officials on tax-related issues nationwide.

Requirements:

• Admitted to practice law in the state.
• Preferably 2-4 years of experience in tax law.
• Strong understanding of transactional tax principles.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Any relevant tax certifications are advantageous.

Skills:

• Proficiency in utilizing legal research tools and databases.
