Paralegal - WC Defense
The candidate will be document creation, filing, management and analysis for large cases. Scheduling. Medical record summaries and chronologies. Procurement of medical records/HIPAA compliance. Preparation and service of subpoenas and other discovery requests. Preparation of pleadings and discovery responses. Preparation of routine status reports to clients or national counsel. Statewide roster/docket monitoring. Electronic filings/ECF with Federal Court. Tracking of time spent on client matters and enter time in CMS billing system in a timely matter. Bachelor’s of Arts degree or Paralegal Certification is required. Should have 4-6 years of Worker's Compensation experience. Experience in insurance company billing is required. Experience tracking and billing time spent on client matters is required. Experience with Case Management Software is required.
