Environmental Legal Counsel
The candidate will provide counseling to senior management and must have a track record of providing value-added business advice in addition to sound legal advice. Will provide counseling and legal support including environmental compliance assistance, interpretative guidance, agency negotiations, and preventive law. Identify and analyze environmental issues that impact the operation, execution, and success of the business. Serve as a subject matter expert and provide senior advisory services to business partners. Negotiate, coordinate, monitor, and manage complex legal issues and make legal decisions. Make recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives, based on an in-depth understanding of business objectives. Develop and implement guidelines and procedures, conduct training presentations, and participate in other activities to educate Company employees as to Company policies and procedures and legal compliance requirements. Perform other duties as assigned.
