A law firm seeks a Family Law Attorney in Mission, KS. The ideal candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to providing compassionate and superior legal services in family law matters.

Duties

• Handle family law litigation in complex dissolution, parenting, enforcement, and modification actions.
• Represent clients at mediation, client meetings, and court proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with opposing counsel and collaborate with relevant professionals.
• Advocate for clients in contentious and emotional matters, including legal decision-making and asset division.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in family law litigation and trial preparation preferred.
• Strong desire to litigate and present evidence in court.
• Solid knowledge of Missouri and/or Kansas family law rules and statutes, or willingness to learn.
• Ability to work closely with a supportive legal team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri and/or Kansas.

Skills

• Excellent litigation and trial preparation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage highly emotional and contentious cases.
