Location:

Duties:

• Provide legal and tax-related counsel to individual and business clients

• Assist in business formation, structuring, compliance, and regulatory matters

• Prepare legal documents and contracts relating to corporate, tax, and financial matters

• Conduct legal and tax research to support advisory services

• Collaborate with internal teams across legal, tax, and accounting disciplines

• Advise on tax planning strategies for individuals, pass-through entities, and corporations

• Assist with client communication, case tracking, and project management

• Support firm-wide initiatives to improve client service efficiency through the use of technology

Requirements:

• 1–5 years of experience in law, tax, or related professional services

• Background in business law, tax law, or financial compliance is preferred

• Prior experience in a multidisciplinary or client-service environment is a plus

• Ability to manage multiple client matters and meet deadlines

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.), Master of Laws (LL.M. in Taxation), or relevant graduate-level tax/accounting education

Certifications:

• Admission to a state bar (Ohio preferred) for legal roles

• CPA or Enrolled Agent status is a plus for candidates with accounting/tax focus

Skills:

• Strong analytical, legal drafting, and problem-solving abilities

• Working knowledge of tax codes and business legal principles

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Technologically adept, with experience in modern legal/tax platforms

• Detail-oriented and capable of handling cross-functional work in a small firm environment
