The candidate will assist in the In House Legal Department on transactions and litigations. Need basic competency and proficiency in areas of real estate acquisitions and financing, real estate leases, title, general due diligence, commercial litigation, and general business matters. In addition to those roles, also include general administrative work on a regular basis. Carefully undertaking Buyer Due Diligence matters (title review, survey analyses, inspection reports) for acquisitions and financing. Word processing and general administrative support as necessary. Draft, edit and revise a large variety of real estate transactional documents. Draft responsibilities and assistance on, as necessary, various commercial litigation matters. Prepare general correspondence to third parties and status reports, including interfacing with real estate brokers and title companies. Monitor time-sensitive calendars and deadlines for real estate acquisitions and litigations. Accomplish organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Should have MS Suite proficiency (Excel/Word), Reporting Skills, Research Skills, Legal Administration Skills, Litigation, Organization, Planning, Attention to Detail, Confidentiality, Dependability, and Client Confidentiality.
