Duties

• Represent clients in criminal law matters, including domestic violence, assault, drug charges, juvenile crimes, white collar crimes, and misdemeanors.
• Manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines are met and clients are regularly updated.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Engage in negotiation and mediation to resolve disputes amicably.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff for seamless case management.
• Participate in business development initiatives, including networking events and client meetings.
• Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with a state bar association.
• 2-10 years of experience practicing criminal law.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered focus.
• Experience in business development and networking activities is a plus.

Education
