Profile

AV-rated law firm located in Trinity, Florida seeks a Litigation Legal Assistant to join its team. To be successful in this role you should have litigation experience (but not mandatory), thrive in working independently, and possess a strong eye for detail. You will assist in several aspects of case preparation and file management. This person supports Paralegals and Attorneys within the firm and is responsible for these sample tasks:

-Corresponding with clients, insureds, adjusters, and outside counsel

-Entering billing timesheet data into the software

-Assisting with receptionist coverage

-Scheduling hearings, depositions, and Mediations

-Assisting with formatting and processing of case status reports and other documents

-Filing

-E-filing through the courts

Strong Microsoft Word skills along with proficiency in Outlook are required.
