Tax Manager, Private Client Advisors
The candidate will review and coordinate preparation of tax returns as it relates to high-net-worth individuals, primarily their personal income tax return as well as their closely held businesses, trust, estate, and gift tax returns. Identify key planning opportunities throughout the year and develop a framework for tax strategies that best align with client needs and goals. Consult with high-net-worth clients and their team of advisors as needed on income tax planning, trust, estate, and inheritance tax planning. Provide partner group with upward feedback with regards to appropriate engagement budgets and the development of overall firm strategy and objectives. Assist with new and existing business development within the local community. Analyze billing and assist with accounts receivable collections from clients. Coach and mentor staff and seniors on client engagements and career paths. Bachelor's degree in accounting, tax, finance, or related discipline; Master's in taxation is preferred. CPA license or equivalent credential (JD) is required. Should have 5+ years of experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience. Should preferably have 1+ years of experience in a managerial role involving clients and team members.
