Associate Attorney needed for Spokane office

Job Overview: A law firm in Spokane, WA is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials and be licensed to practice in the State of Washington. Experience in construction, real estate, or commercial litigation is preferred.

Duties:

• Perform legal research and analysis on construction, real estate, and commercial litigation matters
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
• Assist with trial preparation and court appearances
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and development
• Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
• Provide excellent client service and build strong client relationships
• Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends

Requirements:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• 3-6 years of legal experience
• Licensed to practice in the State of Washington
• Admission to the Idaho State Bar is a plus
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong analytical, research, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Aptitude and desire for trial work
• Understanding of business enterprises and knowledge of doing business in Washington
• Demonstrated success working on a team

Education and Certifications:

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Washington
• Admission to the Idaho State Bar (preferred)
