Duties:

• Manage a comprehensive case load involving medical malpractice and nursing home abuse claims

• Oversee all phases of litigation, including initial investigation, filing, discovery, pre-trial, trial, and resolution

• Conduct and defend depositions, prepare and argue motions, and handle evidentiary hearings

• Prepare compelling presentations using PowerPoint for mediation and arbitration settings

• Serve as first-chair trial attorney, presenting cases before judges and juries

• Collaborate with team members to strategize case management and client service

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Florida medical malpractice and nursing home litigation

• Proven first-chair trial experience with in-depth knowledge of the Florida Evidence Code and Rules of Civil Procedure

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple high-value cases simultaneously

• Strong advocacy skills with meticulous attention to detail

• Energetic, resilient, and committed to achieving client success through rigorous legal strategy

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice in the State of Florida and good standing with the Florida Bar

Skills:

• Exceptional litigation and courtroom presentation skills

• Strategic thinker with advanced problem-solving capabilities

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities

• Proficient in legal research, drafting, and case preparation

• Strong proficiency in technology tools related to case presentation and document management
