A law firm seeks a dynamic Labor and Employment Associate to join its San Diego office. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience in California wage and hour class action and PAGA litigation, as well as handling discrimination, retaliation, and harassment cases.

Duties

• Litigate wage and hour class actions and PAGA cases.
• Handle discrimination, retaliation, and harassment matters.
• Provide day-to-day counseling on employment law.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings.
• Participate in trial preparation and settlement negotiations.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong legal writing and research skills.
• Experience with discovery and motion practice.
• Ability to thrive in a busy, collegial environment.

Education

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active member in good standing of the California Bar.
