The candidate will assist in drafting documents as directed by Attorney; edit and finalize attorney work product related to mergers and acquisitions, corporate formations, commercial real estate transactions, and estate planning. Interface with clients answering basic questions associated with the attorney work product. Schedule and coordinate appointments as needed. Ensure the electronic file is complete and kept pursuant to the firm procedure. Assist with opening and closing of files. Docket all dates (closing dates, signings, etc.). Follow-up on dates via telephone calls or correspondence. Follow-up on assignments with Attorney so deadlines is met. Record billable and unbillable (client and administrative) time spent in the correct file matters. Perform such other duties as may be assigned from time to time. Must have 3-5 years of transactional work (intermediate/advanced corporate formation, mergers/acquisitions and commercial real estate).
