A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with 3 to 5 years of litigation experience to join its Commercial and Construction Law Practice Group in Omaha, Nebraska. The firm handles litigation on a national scale, offering exposure to high-impact cases and opportunities for professional growth. The ideal candidate will bring solid litigation experience, strong analytical and writing skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Location:

• Omaha, NE

Duties:

• Represent clients in commercial and construction litigation matters

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation

• Develop litigation strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys

• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

• Manage case timelines and ensure adherence to court procedures and deadlines

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in litigation

• Trial experience preferred

• Strong work ethic and the ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Excellent time management and organization skills

• Willingness to travel periodically for client and case-related matters

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Strong academic performance preferred

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Nebraska, or ability to obtain a Nebraska license in the near future

• Additional bar admissions are a plus

Skills:

• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills

• Critical thinking and complex problem-solving ability

• Familiarity with commercial and construction law preferred
