Represent school districts and educational institutions in administrative, civil, and constitutional matters
Advise clients on employment, governance, student rights, and education law issues
Draft legal documents including motions, briefs, and memoranda
Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
Attend hearings, court proceedings, and meetings with educational clients
Assist in policy development and compliance with federal and state education regulations
Provide public presentations and training to school administrators and staff
3–7 years of legal experience
Prior experience in litigation or representation of public entities preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Demonstrated commitment to serving educational or public institutions
Ability to manage deadlines and balance a diverse caseload
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
Excellent legal writing and research abilities
Effective oral advocacy and interpersonal communication
Strong understanding of constitutional, employment, and administrative law
Experience in public speaking or conducting legal training is a plus
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
