A law firm seeks an intellectual property litigation associate attorney to join its team in Minneapolis, MN. The successful candidate will engage in diverse patent, trademark, copyright, unfair competition, and trade secret cases, collaborating with experienced trial attorneys.

Duties

• Manage ESI collection and production.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Analyze patents and prior art.
• Draft claim charts and substantive motions.
• Collaborate on expert reports.
• Prepare for and assist in hearings and trials.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in intellectual property litigation or complex federal court litigation.
• Excellent research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and multi-task efficiently.
• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota or able to become licensed.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.

Certifications

• Patent Bar eligibility a plus.

Skills

• Independent thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with post-grant review proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board preferred.
