Internship, Spring 2023

The intern will work in the Office of Community Engagement Section. The interns draft pleadings or briefs, assist in discovery and trial preparation, conduct research, interview witnesses, assist in regulatory functions, and draft transactional documents. The office involves interns in the everyday experiences of the Assistant Attorneys General. First, second, and third-year law students will be considered. Internships typically involve a part-time commitment of one or two days a week.

Apply online and submit a cover letter (attn: Intern Review Committee), resume, short writing sample (up to 10 pages), and unofficial transcript (first-year students may apply without a transcript, but must supplement their application with a transcript as soon as grades are received). The cover letter should include a statement of why the intern wishes to work for the office, if the intern has a preference for one or more sections, and how the intern can add value to the culture of diversity.
