Duties

• Manage a caseload of contested and high-asset family law matters from intake to resolution.
• Own client relationships and set expectations for case progression and costs.
• Handle negotiation, mediation, and courtroom advocacy across Maryland counties.
• Supervise and mentor paralegals and junior staff.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of firm systems and processes.

Requirements

• Admitted to the Maryland Bar and in good standing, or eligible for prompt waiver/reciprocity.
• 7+ years of family law practice with experience in contested and high-asset cases.
• Proven track record of managing cases through trial and settlement.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Maryland.

• Strong legal judgment and strategic thinking in family law matters.
• Financial fluency in high-net-worth divorce cases.
• Effective negotiation and advocacy skills.
