A law firm in Sacramento is seeking a skilled Mid-level Litigation/White Collar and Investigations Associate Attorney with a solid background in complex business litigation and a keen interest in white collar criminal matters. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional writing skills, the ability to independently manage cases, and hold a valid license to practice law in California. Duties:

  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on matters related to complex business litigation and white collar criminal cases.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Assist in the development and execution of case strategy.
  • Conduct witness interviews, prepare deposition outlines, and assist in trial preparation.
  • Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case management and client communication.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

 

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California.
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in white collar criminal matters and investigations.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
  • Ability to effectively manage cases independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent academic credentials with a track record of success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar of California.
