A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join its team in Anchorage, AK. Duties

• Execute case strategy with attorneys, paralegals, clients, and support staff.
• Manage high-level cases by maintaining contact with involved parties and preparing for depositions.
• Draft letters, review court documents, and write discovery responses.
• Keep clients informed by maintaining regular communication.
• Perform weekly case audits with the legal team.
• Organize files, monitor calendars, and meet deadlines.
• Research case law and input information into case management software.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Admitted to practice law in Alaska or able to transfer.
• Background in civil litigation and/or court proceedings beneficial.
• Knowledge in other areas of law is beneficial.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar License (Required).
